15 Steps Challenge App

The app is used as a resource to support, staff and advise where to make improvements to their hospital settings and quality of care. The primary personas for this design are the CEO and Medical Director of the company.

  • Built and designed with a concise user journey in mind.

  • Enter a site, go into ‘My Profile’, see open and closed visits, ‘Select Site’ and ‘Select Ward’.

  • This generates the user’s most recent visit to the site. To open a new visit, the user clicked ‘Create a New Visit’.

  • The four icons represent buttons for the user to click and add notes into each box.

  • Positive feedback is marked green, turning the face green.

  • Any feedback that required improvement would also be written in the box, which consequently turned red with a sad face.

  • The feedback was subsequently passed to the hospital to make necessary improvements.

  • The ‘Show Prompts’ button showed an information guide for users to understand what to include in their feedback.

  • Once finished, the ‘Complete Visit’ affordance would be clicked.

  • The guide could be hidden with ‘Show/Hide Guides’ affordances.
